Grated Apple To Settle Your Stomach
Grated apple is a gentle remedy for an upset stomach, as it contains pectin which aids digestion and alleviates symptoms. Consuming a small amount can help calm the stomach and restore normal digestive function. Peel the apple first, then grate it and let it stand a little so it browns before you eat it.
Try the EcoGrate bamboo and stainless steel Grater Set. It's very sharp and sustainable.
Lavender Oil For Burns And Sunburn
You may be surprised, but Lavender oil is a must-have for everyone. Whether at home, traveling or on vacation, I always have a little bottle of this miracle oil. It’s amazing how it can literally heal minor burns overnight, and even comfort sunburn by mixing a few drops with body lotion. Personally, it has prevented burns from blistering, and sunburn skin peeling.
We like Friendsheep Lavender Oil for your best eco-friendly option.
Hydrogen Peroxide For Splinters
So simple for removing splinters as it softens the skin and creates bubbles that help push the splinter to the surface. Apply a few drops to the affected area, and let it fizz to ease the splinter out gently. It only takes a few minutes.

Peppermint Oil for Bug Banishing
Got bugs that think your home is theirs? Peppermint oil to the rescue! Just a few drops of this minty marvel around where the wall meets the ceiling or the floor, and watch the magic happen. In fact, just this week I had a cricket serenading me from some hidden spot, and after a day of peppermint oil, it packed its bags, and by day two? Silence. Sweet, peppermint-scented silence.
Majestic Pure Peppermint Oil is the one to get.
Arnica Relieves Bruising
Arnica is an alpine plant that has been a trusted remedy for centuries, used to treat injuries like bruises. It contains compounds with anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties that quickly help with bruising by stimulating circulation and reducing pain and swelling.

Remove Oil Stains From Clothes
Cover the grease mark on one side in a thick cakey layer of baby powder. Press it in with your fingers. Roll it up and leave overnight. The following day, shake it out, and wear straight away, or place in the wash.
If that doesn’t do it, take a layer of paper towel, place it on the ironing board. Lay the fabric directly over this and then another layer of paper towel on top of the oil spot. Iron directly onto the paper towel with the iron set to the correct temp for the fabric. Press down firmly and hold for a few seconds at a time, moving the iron slightly so the paper doesn’t burn. Do this a few times, and the paper towel should absorb the now heated oil.
Be Green Baby Powder is eco-friendly and Talc-free, with a refillable alumiminum bottle.
Baking Soda for Cleaning and Odor Absorption
Baking soda packs a punch for natural cleaning and odor absorption. Use it to scrub surfaces, remove tough stains, and absorb unwanted smells in places like your fridge. Non-toxic and biodegradable, it’s your go-to for an eco-friendly clean. For delicate surfaces, test a small area first to avoid scratching, and keep some, open, in your fridge for lasting freshness.
For a trusted, sustainable choice, consider Arm & Hammer Pure Baking Soda, a product that’s as versatile as it is gentle on the planet.
